Highlights
Trikes For Life Excursions' are designed primarily for two to four adults (similiar to a bed and breakfast experience, except it has been moved outside).
Please keep in mind as you plan:
- Camping can be booked for two, three or four nights and the site is fully set up for you
- Package 1 (On-site rates) is a 2-trike / 2-hour minimum
- Off-site rentals (New) are a 4-trike / 4-hour minimum

Package 1
The Triking and Hiking Excursion
This is Trikes for Life's most ambitious package - a combination of experiencing the incredible Hase "Kettwiesel Ride" delta design recumbent trikes and hiking the trails, rivers and beaches along Lake Superior. Triking along non public roads and non motorized trails is interwoven with hikes of your choosing along the shore and inland. We will provide your group of two to four adults with a list of hikes from which to choose. If your group has already rented four trikes, two more people ( of any age ) may join your group and bring their own bikes for an additional fee of $15.00 per person.
Package 2
The Camping and Self-Guided Hiking Excursion
Split Rock River State Park has a total of only 25 campsites along four miles of Lake Superior shoreline. One of these campsites will be yours. More than 14 miles of hiking trails lie within Split Rock's 2,200 acres. The park is totally surrounded by wilderness and Lake Superior.
The setting and the scenery are then complimented by your fully equipped and already set up campsite. Your 12' x 15' tent with wall to wall carpeting and queen size beds with head boards and reading lights is but a sample of what awaits you. We think you'll be impressed. There is even a night light! Five miles of the 205 mile Superior Hiking Trail meanders through the heart of the park. Your party can hike either east or west out of Split Rock on the Superior Hiking Trail for a one way hike with a pick up, or do a loop hike within the park.
Package 3
The Triking, Hiking and Camping Excursion
The best of Packages 1 and 2 are combined in Package 3. Please call or e-mail for dates when both the trikes and campsite are available at the same time. Camping is a two night minimum and a four night maximum. Trike rental could be any time during your stay but preferably between two nights of camping.
